PROJECT 1: MOVIE POSTER
In this project, we are required to sketch 2 initial ideas and compositions of the movie poster on an A4 drawing paper. The movie poster should consist of figure drawing, natural elements, man-made objects, lettering in various sizes to follow the typical format of a movie poster to include the movie title, the names of the director, actors, producer, etc.
In my movie poster, I wanted to create a vintage theme poster that will be using warm color tones and bold lettering. I am mostly inspired by the '80s comic posters as they have the vintage vibe that I am looking for.
MOOD BOARD

They locked Tasha in the cage where they put the performing elephants, Tasha then became best friend with the elephant, Jumbo.

reflection
In this project, I am able to develop freehand drawing skills through a combination of self-expression, natural and man-made object drawing, architectural lettering, tonal values and rendering. Other than that, I am also able to develop skills in coloring using watercolor and choosing the right color palette to capture the essence and express the genre of the film.

The TGC that I gained throughout this project is COMMUNICATION SKILLS
as I am able to communicate by illustrating architectural forms and space
through visualization and expression of space in the form of freehand drawing.
