sustainable living
the aim of the module is to introduce students to a range of historical and contemporary materials illustrating some key themes in the conceptual framework/model/planning of sustainable living in cities. To allow the students to explore issues of space, form and their relationship to aspects of the use and cultural meaning.
project 1 : sustainable system in a city
In a group of 4, we are required to choose a city as a precedent study on the economic, social and environmental aspects and the four infrastructures. After that, we will select a precedent study of a sustainable city based on the characteristics of the theoretical and historical model extracted from the module.

reflection
I personally think that we are all responsible to improves the quality of our lives, protecting our ecosystem and preserving natural resources for future generations. With all the knowledge acquired from this sustainable living module, I believe that I am able to apply what I have learnt from this module when I am designing a sustainable city in the future.
Throughout this project, the TGC that I've gained is DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE as I were able to demonstrate
an understanding of the personal, economic, social and environmental aspects of making sustainable decisions and choices.
Furthermore, I am also able to put theories into practice and understand ethical issues in the context of the field of study.
Last but not least, the TGC that I've gained from this project is THINKING & PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS.
We were able to think critically and creatively while defining and analyzing problems to arrive at effective solutions
in this project. I am also able to apply the methods to achieve sustainability in building design and demonstrate
creativity, innovation and imagination and translate these into an architectural design solution
