reflection
The beginning of Studio IV was chaotic as we had our 3 months long semester break before this. I am helpless and clueless at first as I don't have any friends in the tutorial group but fortunately, I've met two of my new group mates, Skylar and Jessalyn who are very friendly and helpful.
Throughout this project, the TGC that I've gained is DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE as we were able to establish
an appropriate level of understanding of materiality and detailing as means to capture experiential qualities of the design.
We can also translate the design into construction drawings with appropriate construction details and use established
architectural drawing convention.
Moreover, TGC that I've gained from this project is THINKING & PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS. We are
able to design and create architectural spaces with consideration of environmental poetics in relation to the basic
natural context and existing built context. Also, we are able to produce designs at appropriate complexity and
scales up to the schematic level using appropriate communication tools.
