ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN II
This module aimed to introduce spatial architectonics in the creation of architectural space and form/ understanding of the building as an assembly of parts and let students explore architectural design through the abstraction of 2-dimensional and 3- dimensional composition of space. The module also allows students interpret design ideas into habitable architectural spaces through drawing and making.
THEORIES OF ASIAN ARCHITECTURE
This module aimed to integrate architectural design and research through a specific case study, supporting students’ design through extensive research within the framework of Contextual Architecture in Asia.
BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS
This module intends to inform the students on the basic building construction and materials used in the construction of small to medium-scale buildings. It focuses on developing an understanding of the principle of the building elements which include the substructure and superstructure and common construction materials.
