PROJECT 1: MODELS & TATTOOS

In our very first studio project, we are required to understand the design principles, processes, and approaches in generating ideas, developing the design, and translating it into a form. We are encouraged to explore the design elements by using the design principles to design 6 models and 6 tattoo stamps.

This project helped me to understand more about the design basics by exploring the design elements and design principles. I had also learned how to construct design concepts through the process of exploring different design elements and design principles. I enjoyed making the models and making the tattoo stamps.

The first TGC that I had gained through this project is LIFELONG LEARNING as I

explored the design principles and design elements independently and I am able to

locate, extract, synthesize, and utilize the information effectively.

The second TGC that I had gained from this project is THINKING

AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS which I am able to think critically and creatively

to develop 6 models and 6 tattoo stamps on my own. I am also competent to define

and analyze problems to arrive at effective solutions.
